The Shoreditch Floor Sanding Specialists 

St Leonard’s is a prominent local landmark with its tall, slender, if over- complicated spire perched on a portico.  It dates from the 1740s to the design of George Dance the Elder (who also built the Mansion House).

Replacing a crumbling medieval church, its building provoked riots from the use of undercutting Irish labour - causing soldiers to be dispatched from the Tower.

Inside, it is equally ambitious with Tuscan columns.  Wood lovers should check out the rococo clock-face on the organ gallery.  Possibly work by Chippendale, it is one of the finest pieces of carving in London.
